Oriel Ladies have added to their 2007 Inter-Zone Triumph by winning a second Inter-Zone Title, making them one of the most successful ladies Zone sides in recent years. A 59:50 winning margin at Richhill saw them victorious against a spirited and sporting South Tyrone team. Worryingly for other Zones, this has occurred only a few weeks after Oriel Juniors beat all before them on their march to the Juniors Title, whilst their men's team only lost at the semi-final stage of their Inter-Zone Championship. Can any other Zone lay claim to having such a strong all round set-up?
