Worlds Greatest

Outgoing World Singles Champion Colum mc Hugh is the new World Triples Champion. If ever a player deserved to be the title of the worlds greatest it’s got to be immense Mc Hugh.

Morrison stubbed out the threat to lift the rinks crown, while the Wilson brothers DJ & Johnny have finally overcome their final hoodoo at the major championships to become World Pairs champions despite losing two games on the first day. Lesser players would not have made it back to the big stage after the heart breaking defeats they have suffered in the past, but congratulations on a fantastic win boys.

  1. Your comment is incorrect. The winning triple contained Glen Smith not Liam McHugh.

  3. I'm afraid, another comment also incorrect - Wilsons lost just the one game, 6 wins and one defeat

  10. Apologies readers for my enforced absence over recent weeks. Ill health unfortunately has reared its ugly head again but some good news means that I should be back on my feet soon and hopefully make up for missing the National Championships and International Series. Remember, your health is your wealth & and that saying gets more true with each birthday.
